Identify and read Mystic DAT files through validated version profiles, with controlled editing planned. Unknown layouts must be refused.

===== Technical basis =====

Implemented in Free Pascal with embedded format profiles. Official records.112 files from A45 through A49 were compared. Both record sizes and field offsets change; version names or matching sizes alone do not qualify a layout.

The research build checks the developer-header fingerprint, DAT size and data-version marker, then reads an explicit public-field allowlist. Private fields and unknown profiles are refused. Writes are not implemented; process/lock checks, backups and native write/rollback tests are prerequisites.

Planned distribution contains one executable and README.txt: ZIP for Windows, tar.gz for Linux. No separate manpage, MSI/DEB or system-wide PATH change.
